The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Hemang Joshi, Hon’ble MP from Vadodara. He spoke extensively about the vision and necessity of One Nation, One Election as a reform that can transform Indian democracy. Dr. Joshi highlighted how synchronized elections will reduce the massive financial burden of frequent polls, minimize governance disruptions caused by the repeated enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct, and provide governments with a stable five-year mandate to implement policies effectively. He also stressed that ONOE can increase voter participation, make the electoral process more efficient, and bring long-term stability to governance.
